I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!!

I had to put down "I Did It"!!! FOUR TIMES in the title...because, I started the "4 mile" workout video that Holly has been doing...My intent was to only do ONE mile, today...and work my way to the 4 miles during the week....but, true to my nature...I just couldn't QUIT...All those individuals on the video kept going...and I find that...until THEY QUIT...I couldn't either...so I MADE IT...through the ENTIRE "4" mile workout!!!! THANK YOU, HOLLY...for INSPIRING this little ol' lady....to do it!!!! I am nearly 59...come July...and have started to "experience" my age...but, I must say...AFTER working out...then, taking a shower...cleaning up....I didn't quite FEEL MY AGE...A tad bit...younger...I must say...(smile)

I have noticed a decrease in "chatter" on this BLOG...Maybe, it is time...to remember WHY we decided to lose weight in the first place...

HEALTH? A KEENER MIND? WANTED to GET BACK INTO YOUR CLOTHES, AGAIN? WANTED TO FEEL BETTER? WANTED TO LOOK BETTER - MORE SCULPTURED? WANTED MORE SELF-MASTERY ? WANTED THE BLESSINGS THAT IS STATED IN THE DOCTRINE and COVENANTS in SECTION 89? Whatever the reason...I hope you haven't "given up".... I LOVE NEW "BEGINNINGS".... April 1st...is just in a couple of days...If you need to BEGIN AGAIN...a NEW START...what a perfect time...to do it...!!!

I haven't moved my "ticker" in a couple of weeks...but, I am nearly ready...but, want to go down a bit farther...to take off my next pound...I want you to know...this BLOG has helped me to DESIRE to KEEP GOING...even if there is a set-back or two....(smile) I am PUMPED!!!!

  1. OK girls I am back on track. Just got off the treadmill (30 minutes) Anyway to restart my poor little turtle. While you've all been losing I've been stressing (Father's death, 3 out of state trips, too many callings, worried like mad about one of my kiddoes!) and eating. I now have 50 pounds to lose instead of the 42 I started with. Now aren't you glad you aren't in my shoes (or my large large only pair of jeans that fit) But I weighed myself for the first time in 2 months this morning (have to start with an accounting) and I am back on track. Taking vitamins, exercising daily, cutting out sugar and even going for a check up. I am determined. I feel miserable like I can barely move!

  2. As far as I am concerned...you are a INCREDIBLE WINNER!!!! STRESS events in one's life...sometimes...keeps us in a bubble a long time, but you chose to move forward, instead.....I will work on your turtle...He is excited...to START THE RACE, again...Remember...it was the TURTLE who ended up WINNING the RACE....(smile)

Sandee this site isnt to add to any stresses that life has on our paths but a support of unconditional love and understanding as we all strive to better ourselves even through the bumps and boulders of life. You are not alone. We are here for you and one another. I am so glad you are back(: I sure missed you. I know you will do great and become a healthier and more fit person. You are an amazing person, never forget that(:

Lost 3 pounds my first week back on track but you know how easy it is to lose weight the first week (should have lost 5) Still committed to walk outside or inside (treadmill) 3-4 times a week if not more. Honestly girls I am worried about keeping up on the trek. I do have one handy hint. I started snacking on some candy yesterday (I LOVE CANDY) and knew I needed to stop so I popped some sugar free cinnamon gum in my mouth (that's my favorite) and it just go me back on track

  6. Mom you are doing great. I am so happy you did the 4 mile tape. Doesnt it make you feel so good when you are done...and have gotten your breath back(: I have started the 5 mile tape and it is hard but worth it. That is the one that has helped me get back on track(: I look forward to hearing how it all goes for you. Talk ao you soon(:
